Night To Remember

Night To Remember

Reawakening Day, for Marie Annabelle Jones, is all about a revival, or as the term itself implies, a resurrection.  This is going to be the night that the famed phoenix rises up from the ashes and leaves her enemies in the dust.  The enemies in question are none other than Pain and Pleasure.

Marie Annabelle Jones did not want anything to do with Danny Darko.  That is why she placed a restraining order against him.  And yet Darko still wanted a fight and, because of her association with Aerik Walker, Marie kept getting drug into this fight.  And now she finds herself set to do battle against none other than Darko’s wife Vanilla Skyy.

Right, that’s a boy Danny.  Since you can’t fight her yourself, get your wife to do your dirty work for you.

The biggest annoyance about this whole issue is the notion that Marie should somehow feel afraid of Vanilla Skyy.  And it’s even more annoying to think that Marie would need any kind of help in dealing with Vanilla Skyy.  And yet that is exactly what is set up for her at Reawakening Day; Marie Jones and a partner of her choosing against Vanilla Skyy in a two on one handicap match.

This match alone makes Marie’s blood boil because first of all she didn’t want anything more to do with Pain and Pleasure and second of all, the entire notion that she should be worried is preposterous.  Marie knows who and what she is.  She knows that she is a five star athlete in the ring and has the capability of being just as brutal as anyone else outside of the ring.  Marie knows that she can survive against anyone.  Vanilla Skyy, for her, is just another opponent.

Truthfully, though, Marie’s entire life has been reawakened since she took on Ethan Von Aaron and Samantha Hodgson as agents.  Since then she has found herself in good graces with the IWC and GCW, where she recently became GCW Global Heavyweight Champion.  Marie has two men chasing after her, Michael Bauer and Drake Dillon.  There is nothing much that can bring her down at this point in time.

No, her family isn’t exactly approving of her actions or her choice of Michael Bauer as a potential lover, but who cares about them?  Marie just knows that her life seems perfect right now.  Sure, she has her doubters and critics, but they will soon be silenced after she defeats Vanilla Skyy at Reawakening Day.

“You really are quite an exquisite creature to behold.”

Hodgson responds, gushing praise directed at her client who stands there, staring at herself in the full length mirror of her bedroom, primping and preening in a sparkly black dress that hugs every curve and stops just above the knee.  Strappy heeled sandals are on her feet.  Marie’s long red hair hangs down unrestrained to shoulder length.  This woman, Marie’s primary client, her biggest money maker of them all, definitely is proud of herself and Samantha is proud of what she sees.

“You think so?” Marie asks, playfully posing.

“I know so.” Samantha begins, nodding definitively. “I have seen many clients come and many clients go, I have been to business parties where women would deck themselves out in their finest but you, my dear, blow them all out of the water.”

Marie stops her posing in time to turn and shoot Samantha a look.  “Even my mother?”

“My dear, your mother never held a candle to you even on her best of days,” she snickers “and believe me, her best days are definitely behind her.”

The young Jones nods her head in agreement.  This attention and praise she receives right now is a birthright.  She is owed it, not just for being who she is, but for everything she has done for this business.

No, Marie hasn’t been around as long as Aerik Walker, but she is definitely not some wet behind the ears rookie like some who cross through the doors of the Independent Wrestling Cartel thinking that they are the top stuff in the company.  Those are the people who talk trash but quickly are brought back down to earth when things get difficult for them.

Marie, on the other hand, is not like that.  Marie has been through trials and tribulations.  She has seen her fair share of wars and has experienced bloodshed and torture.  The vaunted Phoenix has put her body on the line against monsters in the most demonic of environments and has survived to tell the tale.  Thus it should come as to no surprise that she is not at all concerned about Vanilla Skyy.

The confident, perhaps arrogant, ginger has heard about Vanilla from multiple sources.  She’s heard about how she should fear Vanilla.  She’s heard about how dangerous Vanilla is.  But Marie has fought dangerous individuals before.  She has gone to war with psychopaths in their own world.  What makes Vanilla Skyy so special?

And yet those same people still warn Marie.  Even her own sister Jessica warns her that she is whistling past the graveyard by not taking this threat seriously.  But Marie is not concerned.  She’s handled dangerous people before.

People tell Marie that Michael Bauer is dangerous.  Even Taylor Chase had warned, via twitter, of Michael’s past.  Marie saw the warnings but chose to ignore them completely.  She can handle Mike Bauer.  In fact, she is planning on handling him pretty darn good tonight…

“Mr. Bauer is lucky to have a woman like you, Ms. Jones.”

“Indeed he is,” Marie remarks as she turns back to the mirror and resumes her posing “and so is Drake.”

Hodgson frowns.  The Drake that her client is referring to is none other than Drake Dillon, a former GDW Television Champion and current GCW superstar.  Drake Dillon and Michael Bauer have been fighting a minor cold war over the affections of Marie Annabelle Jones.  Samantha Hodgson has felt it necessary for Marie to pick between the two men but Marie would rather play both sides of the fence.  She would just assume have both boys to herself as opposed to having to pick one and reject the other.

“Yes, about Drake…”

Marie sighs. “I don’t want to hear anything about it, Sam.”

“I apologize, Ms. Jones, but as your agent I feel it is necessary to inform you of my concerns.”

“Yes, well they are duly noted.” Marie retorts.

“That may be true but I don’t think you are taking them seriously.”

The firey-tempered red-head turns around and faces Samantha Hodgson. “Samantha, sweetie, didn’t you promise to stay out of my personal business when I took you on as an agent?”

“Yes, I did.”

“Right, because I saw how you treated my mother.  I remember how you told her to keep her homosexuality in the closet because it was ‘bad for business’ as you put it.”

Samantha sighs. “Not my best decision…”

“Right, well, I don’t want you telling me how to live my life just for business purposes.  Now, if you have a problem with that arrangement, then I could always just make Ethan my only agent…”

“The same Ethan who suggested that you ‘go commando’ for all of your future matches?”

Marie nods her head. “Yes…and he may have some weird ideas…”

“The same Ethan who suggested that we sell Alana Starr and Marie Jones replica breasts?”

“Yeah, that Ethan.  I could always make THAT Ethan my only agent…if you try to run my life…”

Samantha shakes her head vehemently. “No…that won’t be necessary.”

“Excellent.”

“I am not going to tell you how to run your life, Ms. Jones, but do understand that you cannot keep both men forever.  Eventually one or both of them will catch on to this game you are playing.”

“You don’t give me enough credit, Sammy!” Marie waves her right index finger in the air. “I have those boys wrapped around my finger!”

Speaking of said boys, the ringing of the doorbell echoing throughout the home signals the arrival of one of them right now; namely, Michael Bauer.

“That’s him, Sammy!”

Samantha grins. “Knock him dead.”

Marie winks. “Don’t I always?”

Young Jones quickly walks past her agent and exits the bedroom door, stepping out into the hall of the second story of her Boston home.  Jones begins the slow march down the flight of stairs as the ringing echoes yet again.

“Coming!”

She shouts as she nears the bottom.  The redhead reaches the bottom and heads straight for the front door.  She fixes her hair one last time, looking into a camera located on the side of the wall, before turning to the door and opening it.  Marie smiles upon seeing her date for the evening, a handsomely dressed Michael Bauer with flowers in hand, holding them out for his lovely lady.

“Flowers for a flower…”

“Awwww!” She takes the flowers and sniffs them. “You shouldn’t have!”

Marie pauses for a moment before shaking her head. “No, wait, I take that back.  You should have.  I deserve this.   Chocolates too.  Where are the chocolates?”

“Right here…” he holds out his other hand which contain a heart shaped box which contain the chocolates in question. “…I never forget!”

Michael Bauer wants to win Marie’s heart in the worst of ways.  Thus he has been doing his research with the full intention of doing whatever it takes to make her his.  To this end that has had led him to this night, where he made certain to bring Marie her favorite flowers, her favorite kind of chocolates, and now he is treating her to her favorite night out…

…dancing.

Slow dancing, to be precise, as they sway back and forth, slowly, to the beat of the music.  Marie doesn’t quite understand why everyone warned her about Michael Bauer.  She feels safe around him.  She feels safe when her head is pressed gently against his chest with his arms around her as they dance the night away.  Michael Bauer, as far as she is concerned, is a good man and there is absolutely nothing to fear from him.

Just as there is nothing to fear from her Reawakening Day opponent Vanilla Skyy.  In fact, Marie is somewhat offended and insulted that IWC would make her match against Skyy a two on one handicap match.  They act like she needs the help to defeat Vanilla when that is far from being the case.  Marie is not at all concerned, she is not at all afraid, and she will prove that at Reawakening Day, her and her partner…

…If she even gets a partner.  The fact is, she doesn’t think she needs one.  Besides, she’s very picky about who she wants as a partner anyway…

“What about Ethan?”

“I think he may be scared.” Marie answers as they continue to dance.

“Aerik Walker?  Alana Starr?”

“Already in a match.”

“Your sister?  Your mother?”

“Doubtful and hell no.  I don’t want everyone to think I have to rely on my mother.  I don’t need her.”

Mike chuckles. “You seem to be a bit picky in terms of your tag team partners, my dear.”

“Very few men and women today live up to MY standards!” She looks up at him, batting her eyelashes. “Not everyone is a Michael Bauer.”

“True…and I would volunteer my services but alas I do not have an IWC contract.”

“Damn.”

She says, disappointed just as the music comes to a stop.  With that, Mike takes her by the arm and leads her back to their table where they sit down, drinks already there waiting on them.

“I don’t know, if I cannot find a good tag team partner who can compete in IWC, then maybe I should go solo?”

“Go solo?”

“Yeah,” she remarks “is that a problem?”

“No, not at all, I just figured you would take advantage of the tag team partner you have the opportunity to have.”

Marie takes a sip of her alcoholic beverage. “Normally I would, but when my skills and capabilities are called into question I tend change tactics.”

Her eyes narrow into a much more serious look. “I do not need any help to defeat Vanilla Skyy.”

“I’m sure you don’t, my dear, but you do realize how dangerous she can be?”

Marie nods her head. “Yeah, I heard the horror stories, I’ve heard everything from everyone willing to open their traps.  But what they fail to realize is that I have a reputation too.”

The young Jones, now feeling a sense of righteous indignation, beats her own chest a few times.

“I have shed just as much of my own blood as anyone else in IWC!  I am just as skilled a fighter as anyone else in IWC!  I am nobody’s pushover!”

“And I don’t doubt that…”

Another slow song starts up.  Michael Bauer stands up and holds out his hand. “May I have this dance?”

Marie sighs. “I’m not sure I want to.  I’m just so frustrated now.”

“Then let me take your frustrations away.”

Marie reluctantly nods her head and accepts his hand.  He pulls her up and leads her back out onto the dance floor where the two once again hold onto each other tightly and dance the night away slowly.  Just as Bauer predicted, her stress and frustrations, all of the memories and thoughts of her upcoming Reawakening Day match against Vanilla Skyy wash away, all of the doubts from her critics vanish as she thinks only of Michael Bauer.

“You really are a special man, you know that?”

“I try my best.”

“I mean it.” She looks up at him with a warm smile. “You make me feel good.”

“And what about Drake Dillon?”

“Who?”

Michael smirks. “Good girl…”

Michael Bauer takes her and spins her on her heel and then dips her before planting a kiss on her lips.

“Did you like that, Marie?”

“Like it?” She returns the favor with a kiss of her own. “Does that answer your question?”

“Do not listen to the critics.” Mike tells her after returning her to her standing position, close to him as they resume dancing. “They know nothing of what you are truly capable of.”

“That’s right.”

“But you will show them, won’t you?  You will show them all what GOOD people are capable of…”

“Yes…yes I will…”

“I really did enjoy my evening with you, Marie.”

Michael Bauer continues to work his magic, going as far as to open the passenger door for Marie to help her out of the car.  Chivalry Is not dead, at least it isn’t when Mike Bauer needs to use it, and he definitely wants to use it to his advantage on this night.  Bauer takes her by the arm and walks her up the steps to the front door of her Boston home.  Even Marie seems to fall for his act tonight, as she doesn’t appear to want this night to end.

“You and me both, Mike.”

He leans in kisses her on the lips, reminiscent of their evening. “In that case, there’s something to remember me by.”

“Oh yeah?” She returns the favor again with a kiss of her own. “And there’s one from me, sweetie.”

Marie turns the doorknob, they say their final goodbyes and Mike walks off as Marie enters her home, shutting the door behind her.  Marie smiles warmly as she walks down the hall, towards the living room area.  She steps over the threshold into the living room area and her eyes grow wide as she finds a strange, yet familiar face, sitting there on her sofa.

“…grandpa?”

Yes, that’s the rugged features of a man who has been to hell and back.  This is the same man who ran from the Russian Mafia for a long time and had to endure his wife dying and his children leaving him.  This is Bart Jones, the father of Angelica and Kayla Jones, and Marie’s grandfather.

“What are...” she has a hard time finding the right words “…what are you doing here?”

“I wanted to talk.  I thought you did too.”

“I did…I do…”

“Then why delay?”

“Um…” Marie is still flustered so she just shrugs her shoulders “…I dunno…”

“Or maybe the better question you should be asking yourself is how did I get into your locked house?”

Marie frowns. “Yeah…how did you get in?”

He grins knowingly. “Your mother gave me a key.”

“Damn.  I forgot…”

The pair share a hearty laugh as he stands up, motioning with both hands for her to come over and give him a hug.  He doesn’t have to ask twice.  Marie is right there, in his arms, embracing him tightly.

“I haven’t seen you in forever…”

“I know sweetie.” He says, patting her gently on the back. “I know.”

They eventually do break the embrace and he motions for her to sit down.  She does so and he sits down on the sofa next to her.

“Where have you been, grandpa?”

“It’s a long story…” his voice trails off.

“Make it short then.” Marie encourages him. “Because I’ve wanted someone like you in my life for a long time.”

“Me?”

She nods her head. “Yes, you.  A father figure.  My daddy died, in case you didn’t know.  And my son Sean…he needs a father figure.  So tell me, where the hell have you been?”

He sighs sadly. “It’s been difficult coming around.  Your mother only last month forgave me and your aunt Kayla still hasn’t forgiven me.”

“Forgiven you for what?” She asks. “You haven’t done anything wrong.”

He shakes his head. “You have no idea what I’ve done, Marie.”

He takes her by her hands and squeezes gently but firmly. “But I promise you that I won’t make that mistake with you.  As long as you want me around, I’ll stay.  If you need me, I’m here for you.”

Marie hugs him. “And it doesn’t matter what you’ve done, grandpa…you can be forgiven and as far as I’m concerned you ARE forgiven!”

Marie’s Thoughts

I’ve changed.

At least that’s what everyone has been telling me.  They keep telling me I’ve changed and they act like it’s such a bad thing.  Well, maybe I have changed?  Maybe I am different.  But I can tell you one thing, this is a change for the better.

The way I had been doing things just wasn’t working out.  I continued to play by the rules all the while watching everyone else get the title shots, everyone else get the glory that should have been mine.  But now that’s changed.  Now I have the right people looking after me and my career.

Those people are none other than Samantha Hodgson and Ethan Von Aaron.

Have I changed?  Yes, I have, and that change has so far brought me championship gold.  I am the GCW Global Heavyweight Champion.  I now have the spotlight, a spotlight that should have been mine all along.

Being good means jack and shit if people walk all over you.  Well I’m through letting people walk all over me.  This is a Marie Annabelle Jones world and Reawakening Day is going to be the beginning, the beginning of The Rise of the Phoenix.

Vanilla Skyy should count herself lucky, because she gets to be a part of history.  Her and Danny Dorko can tell their kids and grandkids all about how they were there to witness an evolution become complete; the evolution of a weakling into a mega-star, the evolution of that doormat you all seem to have fond memories of into the most dominant wrestler to ever come out of the Jones family.

==========
Samantha’s Thoughts
On Camera
==========

Who is afraid of the big bad Skyy?

My client, “The Phoenix” Marie Annabelle Jones, is certainly not afraid of Vanilla Skyy or anyone else for that matter.  No matter how great you are, no matter how many championships you may have won and no matter who you may have destroyed in the squared circle, ultimately this is one woman…

...just one measly little woman…

No matter what hype Danny Darko and others may be shilling out to the IWC press, the fact remains that she is just one woman and on any given night any one can beat anybody.  That is a fact in our industry that has yet to be disproven.

And my client is not just “anyone”...my client is a former three time world champion.  My client is the youngest inductee into the GCW Hall of Fame.  That speaks for her pure talent and ability.  That speaks to her ability to win against anyone she faces.
Oh but Vanilla Skyy is supposed to be dangerous, right?  My client has danced with the devil more times than you can count.  She put her body on the line, sacrificing life and limb, in two brutal Apocalypse Matches against two of the deadliest competitors in our industry today.  Marie suffered a broken back in one and a broken leg in the other and while lesser competitors would have let that end their career Marie continued to forge through it all and persevere.  And if that weren’t enough to convince you, my client competed against nine other competitors in the sadistic Insanity Cage.

That speaks for her will to win and determination to continue and it also speaks of her ability to compete in the most sadistic of environments imaginable with the more sadistic of minds in the game.

Do you really think she sweats Vanilla Skyy?  If anything, Vanilla Skyy should sweat Marie Annabelle Jones because the fact is that not only does she have to face one great athlete…

...but she may potentially have to face TWO great athletes.

Who will Marie’s partner be?  Wait and find out, darling.  Until then understand that you are not feared by one and all as you would like.  Marie Annabelle Jones does not fear you.  There is nothing in heaven above, hell below, or here on earth that my client is afraid of.  My client has dealt with your type before, Vanilla, and let me tell you, this will just be another day for The Phoenix.

Ethan’s Thoughts
On Camera
==========

Ladies and Gentleman…

The name is Ethan Von Aaron and I represent two of the greatest women in this sport today firstly the Goddess of Goodness and My best friend, MY CLIENT Alana Starr and then we have the greatest ginger in existence the reigning GCW Global Champion Marie Jones.

Before Marie joined us sure she was beautiful sure she was talented but she was also a door mat.  People walked all over her, people took advantage of her good nature on a near constant amount of the time it seems. She was inches away from a world title shot but she was screwed out of it not through any of her own doing but by someone literally stealing her identity and posing as her.

Marie was taken advantage of at every turn and then she saw someone good that wasn’t being held back for being a good person, that wasn’t being put down because she didn’t want to be a slut, someone who didn’t want to sleep with the boss or break the rules to make it in this business.

That person was my client Alana Starr. Marie saw in Alana inspiration and a friend because unlike so many GOOD people out there Alana has never given up her good morals.  Alana has never given up her good girl image and she helped Marie realize that she didn’t either.

And now Marie is going to take out Vanilla Sky a chick that apparently has quite the legacy behind her. The sister of the infamous Typhoid Mary and the sole reason her husband Danny Dorko isn’t at the bottom of the ocean.  She caused the cease fire protected her poor panty waste husband but she won’t be able to protect herself, not at Reawakening Day, because at Reawakening Day the myth the legend of Vanilla Sky comes to an end on that one momentous night.  Marie Jones will take out the legend of Vanilla Sky.  The myth will end... and a new legend will begin the legend of Marie Jones.

==========
Chicago
On Camera
==========

It is a bright morning in the city of Chicago.  The hustling and bustling of everyday life creates for a background noise and yet despite that we can hear the clicking of heels across hard pavement that signals the arrival of the star of our show.  From stage right comes into view none other than “The Phoenix” Marie Annabelle Jones, dressed in a silky floral leaf print blouse, a mid thigh length black leather skirt, and open toe black sandals with two inch heel.  Her long red hair hangs down unrestrained to shoulder length.

“Hello Chicago!” Marie shouts loudly with glee in her voice. “The home of the Chicago Bulls!  The home of the Chicago Bears!  The home of…”

She holds up her fingers in the shape of an “L” on her forehead. “…LOSERS!”

She snickers nastily. “So it is oh so appropriate that this match between Vanilla Skyy and myself take place in Chicago, because not only is she a loser but she married a total loser by the name of Donny Darko…or Danny Dorko…or whatever his name is!”

The beautiful ginger continues to walk down the sidewalk, the camera following her every step of the way.  She ignores the passersby, some of whom shout her name, others ask for an autograph, still others jeer as they recognize her as a member of The Good Movement.

“I really don’t like Chicago because it is a city full of losers and freak shows but I bet you feel quite at home because you are both a loser and a freak show.” She stops her talking momentarily, pausing for a moment before beginning again.  “Well, maybe you’re not a total loser yet, but you will be.  At least, you will be a big fat loser very soon after I have taken you to school at Reawakening Day.”

The Phoenix stops walking and turns to face front towards the camera.  Marie shrugs her shoulders.

“What’s wrong?  Is that not what you expected to hear?” She sneers. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry, but I don’t scare easily.  I don’t get intimidated easily and I am sure as hell not scared of a myth.”

“Now I’ll give credit where credit is due, you and your family are quite the intimidating myth and your husband is quite the imposing figure himself, and together all of you create a nice neat little myth of intimidation and fear.”

The young Jones shakes her head. “But I’m not afraid of you.”

“Why the hell should I be afraid?” The Phoenix shrugs her shoulders. “You tell me, Vanilla.  Why should I be afraid of you?  You cannot give me even one reason why I should fear you.  But I’ll tell you what, I’ll tell you why I have absolutely ZERO reason to fear you…”

Marie holds up one finger. “First of all, I am a member of the famous Jones family of professional wrestlers.  Professional wrestling runs through my veins.  I have been at this for years now, honing my skills.  I have won championships in every company I have ever been in.  I am a four time world champion and at the age of twenty-seven I am among the youngest inductees to a professional wrestling hall of fame there is.  You want to talk about wrestling greatness?  This is it, baby!”

The ginger holds up a second finger. “Second of all, there is nothing…absolutely NOTHING…that you can dish out that I haven’t already had to endure before.”

With both of her hands she motions to her lovely features, a face that two men already are fighting over.

“This face could tell stories of the blood that poured out of every orifice…” she spins around on her heel, doing a three-sixty “…and this body could tell stories of wrestling in thumbtacks and barbed wire.”

She pats her back. “This back has been broken.” She touches her leg. “This leg has been broken.”

Marie looks on with a determined grimace into the camera. “Many have come before you and have tried to put me down.  They dropped me through a triple-tier-cell structure, they’ve run me down in the parking lot, they’ve beat me down gang style…and yet I keep getting back up!”

Jones holds up a third finger. “And the third reason I do not have any reason to fear you is because I hold your fate in the palm of my hand!”

A nasty snicker escapes her lips. “That’s right, darling, Reawakening Day is my night for more than one reason.  Not only is it my night to defeat you, but it is my night to decide your fate.  Who…oh who pray tell will I choose to stand by my side and assist me in systematically taking you apart?”

She points a long slender, carefully manicured finger directly at the camera. “And you have absolutely no one to watch your back.”

“No Pain and Pleasure…no Danny Darko…just you, all by yourself, against me and a tag team partner of my choosing.  In a two-on-one situation, with the right tag team partner, I could end your pathetic excuse for a career.  And yes, as legendary as you may have once been, your career has truly taken a turn for the pathetic if you come into IWC with the sole purpose of protecting your husband.”

“I’m here to be great.  I am here to one day become IWC World Heavyweight Champion.  And you, Vanilla Skyy, are just a mere distraction from that goal.  My tag team partner and I will eliminate all of those distractions at Reawakening Day.”

A knowing grin forms across her face. “Or maybe…just maybe…I could keep it a level playing field?  Hell, I don’t need a tag team partner and that’s the truth.  I can beat you all by myself.  I have the skills necessary to eliminate you from my life all by myself.  So who knows?  I may just keep it one on one…”

“But if I keep it one on one, be warned that you are facing Marie Annabelle Jones, The Phoenix, and I have the potential to be just as sadistic, just as bloodthirsty, just as violent, as anyone else.  Do not forget who my mother is…”

Young Phoenix nods her head. “And yes, speaking of violence, that is yet another reason why it is rather appropriate that this match take place in Chicago, the home of violence and crime galore!”

“Four Hundred an Fifteen murders in 2013.  In 2013 at least ten people were beaten, burned, suffocated, or shot to death.” Marie Annabelle sighs, with a hint of sarcasm. “Ah, what a lovely place!  It’s a wonder no one from IWC has been mugged yet…”

“The point is that wrestling isn’t the only thing that runs in my family.  Violence also runs in my family.  You have no idea exactly what I am capable of, Vanilla.  You do not know what acts I can perpetrate if I really want to eliminate my enemies.”

“Unfortunately, you are about to find out.”

“You could have just walked away from all of this.  You could have just left well enough alone but yet you pressed the issue and now here we find ourselves set to fight one another at Reawakening Day.”

She nods her head. “You heard that right, this won’t be a wrestling match, this will be a fight.  It is time to remind people why I am known as The Phoenix and to do that I will be making an example out of you, Vanilla.”

“So get ready, Vanilla, because in the crime capital of the world, I will commit a legalized assault in the middle of the ring.  At Reawakening Day, The Phoenix rises and you will be burned to ash.”
