The camera
begins to roll. We see a revolving door,
golden in color. As the camera turns
away from the door we can see that this door leads to a long hallway, cream
colored with floors that have carpeting that is crimson in appearance. Light streams in from a window at the end of
the hall, not that it is needed, as overhead lamps hang from the ceiling to
light the path of any who choose to come.
Just then the sound of the doors causes the camera to turn back around
to face the door. We see Jessica
Lasiewicz stepping in through the revolving door.
“August 26th was a special day in
the United States. And no, I’m not
talking about SCW Breakdown, although I personally do consider that day rather
special considering it was the SCW debut of The Sisterhood, Angelica Jones and
Kayla Jones, as a tag team.”
Jessica
begins to walk, away from the door, and down the hall. The camera follows her every step of the way.
“August 26th also happens to be
Women’s Equality Day in the United States, the day that this country honors the
nineteenth amendment, guaranteeing women the right to vote. It is also a day to remember how women have
made such great advances towards equality with men in the history of this great
nation.”
Jessica continues
down the hall and we come to a portrait of a woman. “This is a portrait of Geraldine Ferraro, the first woman to run for
Vice-President under a major political party ticket.”
The young
Lasiewicz continues down the hall, coming to a portrait of a slightly younger
looking African American woman.
“And here you see Condoleezza Rice, who
served as Secretary of State for the United States.”
She
continues her walk down the hall, coming to another portrait of a third woman,
this one should be familiar to one and all.
“Finally, you have before you the portrait
of Hillary Clinton, a woman who has already been US Senator and Secretary of
State and could very well be the next President. I’m not planning to vote for her.”
She shakes
her head as she walks down the hall further, coming to a portrait of Dylan
Howell. “I’m not voting for this jackass,
either.”
Jessica
turns and jerks the portrait roughly off of the wall. The young Polish woman tosses the portrait to
the side and then turns back to face the camera.
“I will be the first to admit that I’m not
exactly the most fun person in SCW. I
don’t have a perfect sense of humor. But
seriously, Dylan, your game is fucking ridiculous. Howell for President? Seriously?
I see you swarm social media with your campaign slogans and it makes me nauseous. I want to vomit whenever I see you because
you and your pathetic presidential run is a disgrace to professional wrestling. It makes me wonder if you truly are serious
about this business at all.”
“I am serious, Dylan, and I hope you are
going to be taking me serious instead of thinking about your next campaign
fundraiser. Remove all thoughts of
Clinton, Trump, Bush, or the White House because those clowns are not your
biggest threat.”
Lasiewicz
motions to herself. “I am your biggest
threat. I am the one you have to survive
in Philadelphia at the Wachovia Center.
You shouldn’t even be worrying yourself over that battle royal at
Apocalypse, at least not yet. You may
not even make it to Apocalypse if you piss me off, Howell. So don’t get distracted by a pretend threat
of your own imagination or a threat in the near future. You should worry about the one threat that is
real, a threat that is here and now and ready to strike.”
“You should worry about me, you should worry
about The Morning Star. But you know
what, Howell, while we are talking about your stupid political career, and
since you have declared that you are entering the race, well hell, allow me to
take this time to OFFICIALLY declare something of my own…”
Jessica
makes the championship belt motion at her waist. “I am declaring my intention to put gold around this waist again.”
“The fact is that I did what I originally
came here to do. I helped my mother to
see the light, I showed her who Silas Mason really was, and I was a part of the
solution, the cure to that Silas World cancer that had permeated SCW for so
long. Now that he’s gone I can be
selfish once again. Now that I did what
I came here to do, I can focus on championship gold once more.”
She points a
long slender finger at the camera. “And
it all starts with you, Howell. On
Breakdown, in front of the Philadelphia crowd, I defeat you, I dominate you, I
take you out. Then at Apocalypse, I win
the battle royal and prove my dominance over some of the great female athletes
of Supreme Championship Wrestling.”
“No fun and games, no political spin, just
the harsh reality of Jessica Lasiewicz, Lady Gambit, running right through
Dylan Howell on Breakdown and then running right through the competition at
Apocalypse.”
