Sins of the Father: Act 5

==========
Sins of the Father
Act 5
Off Camera
==========

It truly has been a long time coming for young Marie Annabelle Jones.  It has been almost a full year since her quest for redemption began, a quest that would include overcoming injury, breaking free from Silas Mason and Silas World, reclaiming the UWA World Tag Team Championship with her new friend Sophie James, and finally working her way back to becoming number one contender to the UWA World Championship, earning her spot in the new Pyramid Match at UWA’s premier pay per view Olympus, an opportunity that every competitor wrestling for the Uprising Wrestling Alliance fought, scratched, and sacrificed for, but only three would get to enter the Pyramid to wrestle the champion Vanilla Skyy for the title.

For Marie, the Pyramid was about much more than just ascending to the top and claiming that championship.   It was about more than just survival or proving that she could reach out and grab that brass ring.  It was about more than just proving she could win the big one.  Marie’s quest for redemption had been a journey of earning back the trust of her fans and fellow athletes and rebuilding bridges that she had burnt down one year again when she was first drafted to the Uprising Brand of the Independent Wrestling Cartel.

It had been one year since Marie had been drafted to the Uprising Brand of IWC, the brand that would eventually become UWA.  And it had been nearly one year since she finally saw the error of her ways and sought out to fix things.  A most challenging quest to say the very least, for when you burn as many bridges as Marie had burned, you may think it would be impossible to turn things around.  But Marie knew she had to try.  She knew that, if for her own conscience, she had to at least attempt to make things right.

Her sins were many and great, but not unforgiveable.  Over the course of nearly one year she had fought through injury and turned over a new leaf, receiving forgiveness from nearly everyone she had wronged in the past.  Now all that was left was to prove she could win the UWA World Championship and to prove that she could do it on her own...

…no Silas Mason…

…no Sophie James…

…no back-up.

Now tonight Marie is carrying a little extra hardware with her as she makes her way to the back at the Nimes Arena in Nimes, France after UWA Olympus has gone off the air; draped over Marie’s left shoulder is her UWA World Tag Team Championship belt…

…and draped over her right shoulder is her newly won UWA World Championship belt.

Yes, Marie was successful at Olympus inside of the ever-so-dangerous Pyramid, and based upon the smile on her face that will no doubt have to be surgically removed, she is quite pleased with herself and with the outcome.  She capped off the night with a UWA World Championship win and, more importantly, she completed her quest for redemption by proving that she could win the big one and that she could win it on her own.

Now Marie Annabelle Jones has finally climbed to the top of the mountain.  She is the UWA World Champion.

Jones is aching all over but she still smiles, she is still happy, and she damn near skips down the hall until she makes her way to her dressing room.  She pushes the door open and steps inside.  Immediately she is met with a tight embrace from her younger half-sister Corey Jones.

“Congratulations, sis!”

Marie turns and sees her other sister, Kimberly Williams, approaching.  The dark-haired twin has a knowing grin on her face as she nods her head approvingly.

“I knew you could do it, Marie.”

“Thanks, Kim.”

Marie turns her head to the opposite side, finding Angelica Jones, her mother and the mother of Corey and Kimberly, standing there.  She, like the others, has a wide grin on her face.  She is quite proud of her daughter and what she has accomplished here tonight.

“So tell me, how does it feel?”

Marie sighs as she looks over at the UWA World Championship belt that sits on her right shoulder.  Then she looks back up at Angelica, grinning from ear to ear.

“It feels…”

She laughs lightly.

“…it feels almost unreal.  I want to pinch myself…”

A hand reaches in and pinches Marie on her uncovered arm.

“OW!”

Marie quickly spins around and finds her best friend and tag team partner Sophie James standing there with a sneaky grin on her face.  Marie frowns.

“What was that for?!”

“You said you wanted to be pinched!”

“I said I wanted to pinch MYSELF…”

Sophie smirks.

“Whatever…”

She taps the UWA World Championship belt.

“…now did I not tell you that you would win this?  Did I not TELL you that you had this in the bag?”

Marie chuckles as she nods her head.  Sophie James has, indeed, been her biggest cheerleader since day one.  Sophie James has had more faith in Marie than, perhaps, anyone else in the entire company.  There were times that Sophie even had more faith in Marie than Marie had in herself.  It was those dark and trying times that Marie is truly grateful for Sophie’s friendship.

Sophie holds up her hand and Marie high fives it.

“I guess you were right…”

“Of course I was right.  I’m always right.”

“And Sophie…”

Marie embraces her friend in a tight hug.

“Thanks for being there for me, thanks for always believing in me…especially during the times when I did not believe in myself…I could not have finished this journey without you, my friend…”

“Think nothing of it, babe, but quit with the lovey-dovey crap, people will start to think I’m not a bitch.  I have a reputation to uphold!”

Marie scans the room.  She furrows her brow in confusion as she notices something, or rather someone, is missing.  Marie turns to her mother for answers.

“Where’s Arthur?”

“It was getting late and he noticed Sean was starting to fall asleep so he took him back to the hotel.”

Marie smiles warmly.

“Awww, poor Sean…my poor baby…I knew he wanted to stay up and see how mommy did.”

Angelica places a hand on Marie’s shoulder.

“You were the same way growing up.  You wanted to stay up and see my fights but if I was late on the card you would usually fall asleep before I came up.”

“I know and I hated it.  I missed so much.”

Angelica chuckles.

“There’s always DVD, sweetheart.”

Corey is seen walking over towards the door.

“As much as I’d like to stay and party, I have a GCW appearance in a couple of days.  I need some sleep of my own.”

Angelica nods her head in agreement.

“Me too.  I’m booked for an SCW House Show.”

Angelica embraces Marie in a tight hug and then walks out.  Corey is next, hugging Marie tightly and wishing her another congratulations before exiting right behind her mother.  Kimberly walks up to Marie next, smiling with mischief in her eyes.

“Guess I’ll make it three for three.  Do you think you and Sophie can handle things from here?”

Sophie playfully salutes.

“I’ll drive her back to the hotel!”

Marie rolls her eyes.

“I feel real safe now…”

Kimberly embraces Marie in a tight hug.

“Congrats, sis…”

Kimberly makes her exit.  This leaves Marie Jones and Sophie James, the Ginger Nation and UWA World Tag Team Champions, alone in the dressing room…

Marie removes the two title belts that had been sitting on her shoulder and stares at them intensely.  One is new, she just won it tonight after enduring the hell of the Pyramid Match.  The other championship belt is one she and Sophie have held since October of 2015.  It’s been nearly nine months since she and Sophie James defeated Chris Davids and Cassius DeLight to become the UWA World Tag Team Champions.

“It’s still hard to believe…”

Marie’s voice trails off as she continues to stare at her title belts.  Sophie reaches down and taps the tag team title belt.

“Believe it, girl, but you also need to focus on that…”

Marie Jones looks up at Sophie who appears to be slightly more serious now.

“…we have to defend those.”

Sophie is referring to their next title defense, a match against Selena Frost and Kalinda Kriegsdottir.  This match will take place when UWA debuts at the Westchester on July 18th.  Winning the UWA World Championship was wonderful.  It was a cloud nine high for Marie to hear her name announced as the new champion.  But Sophie James just brought her down from that high and back into reality, the reality that goes with being a double title holder in one of the premier wrestling organizations in the world today.  It means that she cannot afford to forget her duty to the tag team division.

“Yeah, you’re right…”

“Frosty The Snow Bitch and Puff The Magic Dragon cannot be the team that beats us to end our nine month reign as champs, girl.  Not…gonna…happen!”

Marie smirks.

“Frosty The Snow Bitch?  Puff The Magic Dragon?”

“Yeah, I think that describes those two pretty well.”

“I take you’re not their biggest fan?”

Sophie shrugs her shoulders.

“I’m not anyone’s biggest fan except my own…”

She gently taps Marie on the cheek.

“…and yours too, babe!”

Marie rolls her eyes.

“Great, just what I needed, a fan club.  Though I think it’ll take more than just a fan club to beat Selena and Kalinda.”

“We can beat them.  No worries.  But what gets me is why they are even facing us to start with.”

Sophie shakes her head.

“Seriously, they haven’t even beat anyone yet!  This is their debut as a team!  And yet they have an opportunity to beat us?”

Marie places a hand on her clearly upset friend’s shoulder.

“We’re not going to let it happen.  You and I are the leaders of the Ginger Nation and we’re not going to drop these belts to Snowflake or the oversized fire breathing Smurf.  The Ginger Nation was at the top of the world tonight, and we’ll be on top of the world when UWA debuts at the Westchester.  That sound good?”

Sophie grins knowingly.

“Sounds great to me!”

“Then try not to worry!  We’ll be fine, I’m sure of it…”

Marie looks back down at her UWA World Title belt.

“…in fact, I think things are only beginning to get better…for both of us.”

“I agree…”

Sophie walks towards the door, the same one where everyone else made their exit earlier.

“…I’m gonna go find that stupid driver and have our car pulled around.  I’m bored now and want to leave.”

Marie chuckles and waves to her friend.

“Ok, I’ll see you in a few…”

Marie watches as Sophie makes her exit.  Marie knows that now she must get changed back into her street clothes so she can leave the arena.  As much as she would love to continue standing here and soak in all of her newfound glory of being champion, she knows that rest and a good night’s sleep is what she needs more than anything else.  Despite the confidence the tag team champions of the world seem to exude, deep down inside Marie knows how much of a challenge Selena and Kalinda will prove to be.  The two tough athletes have been on quite the roll lately.  They have built up momentum and that momentum is why they are in this prime position to begin with.  It is not unforeseeable that they could take advantage of this once in a lifetime opportunity and win the UWA World Tag Team Titles in their debut as a tag team.

Jones walks over to a far corner of the dressing room where she finds an open gym bag.  She reaches inside and pulls out a pair of denim jeans, black boots, and a red sweater.  She leaves her two championships on top of the now empty gym bag as she turns and heads over towards the door that leads to the bathroom within her dressing room.

Marie pushes the bathroom door open and steps inside.  She shuts the door behind her and walks over to the mirror.  She grins upon seeing herself…

…but when that grin twists and contorts, seemingly on its own, into a vapid sneer, Marie jumps back.  And then…

“Congratulations!”

…Marie drops her clothes onto the ground in shock.  She covers her eyes with her hands and shakes her head vehemently as she repeats over and over again the same phrase, almost as if she is pleading with herself…

“You’re not real…this isn’t happening…you’re not real…this isn’t happening…you’re not real…this isn’t happening…”

“Oh I am real.  And this IS happening.”

Marie reluctantly opens her eyes and faces her reflection in the mirror.

“Y’know, that Pyramid match WAS pretty violent…I’m pretty sure I bumped my head a few times on some steel…yeah!  That’s it!  I’m just seeing things!”

Marie is trying to come up with any logical explanation, anything that will make this insanity go away.  And yet all she gets for her troubles is her reflection laughing back at her.

“Quit grasping at straws, sweetie, because you know that’s all that you’re doing.  You’re just grasping at straws because you don’t want to admit that I do exist.”

“You don’t exist!  You’re…you’re…”

“I am your dark side, Marie.  I represent all of the pent up hate and aggression, the evil that has always lived inside of you.  I am your shadow self and I told you that you would need me in order to become UWA World Champion.”

The reflection cackles nastily.

“And I was right!”

Marie shakes her head vehemently.

“No!  You are wrong!  I won it!  I did!”

“Yes, yes you did win.  But you won because you let me out.  You released me, even if it was only for the duration of the match, but you still released me.  And I gave you a gift.  I gifted you with the UWA World Championship.”

The reflection smirks.

“You’re welcome.”

“No!”

“Oh yes, you did let me out.  You released me and while you did manage to put me back in I was still released and what you need to realize is that the more I’m released, the more I begin to take over.  And if you’re a smart girl then you can do the math and realize what that means for the long term….”

Marie’s face goes pale as a sheet and the reflection cackles again.

“…that’s right, the more you release me, the more like me you become, until eventually you become me.”

Jones drops to her knees, shakes her head, and covers her eyes with her hands.

“No!”

“Think back to the Pyramid.  Specifically think about Willow Wilkes, your former tag team partner.  She stabbed you in the back leading into this…but how good did it feel to drop that crazy bitch on her head?”

Marie stands back up and faces her reflection again.  She stares her down but slowly, surely, a grin forms across Marie’s face.

“She deserved it.”

Marie realizes what she just said and shakes her head vehemently.

“No, no, I meant…”

The reflection laughs nastily.

“You can’t take back what you already said!  You proved my point!  You are every bit a sociopath as our sister Kimberly, it’s just a matter of bringing it out in you, and the more you embrace me, the more like  her you become.”

Marie shuts her eyes tightly.

“No!  I’m not like her!  I am NOT a sociopath!  I am…”

She opens her eyes back up and finds that the reflection, while it is still there, is now acting like a normal reflection.  The reflection is no longer taunting her.  The voices are gone.  Everything is normal again.  She wants to dismiss this as just stress, a lot has been going on in her life, from the build up to Olympus until now.  Stress could easily explain this…

…and yet she did enjoy pile driving Willow on that steel.

The sound of the dressing room door slamming shut signifies that someone has just entered the room.  Marie assumes it must be Sophie who has forgotten something, or is just coming back to check on her.  Either way, Marie needs a friend right now, she needs a shoulder to cry on right now.  She bolts out of the bathroom…

“Sophie!”

Marie frowns upon exiting the bathroom.  She doesn’t see Sophie there.

“I’m sorry to disappoint you, my dear.”

It’s Emma.  Emma Storm, her mother Angelica’s old enemy.  Marie had heard rumors that Emma had returned.  She had heard that Emma had come back into Angelica’s life.  But Emma had always been an upscale, best dressed type of lady.  She didn’t expect to see Emma looking shabby, wearing a pair of torn jeans, flip flops, and a dirty t-shirt.  And she did not expect, nor did she want, to see Emma coming to visit her.

“What the hell do you want?!”

“I bought tickets for the show and thought I would stop by for a visit.”

She points down to the two title belts that sit on the empty gym bag in the corner.

“Again, congratulations.”

Marie shakes her head.

“No, no, this isn’t right.  You do not come here…”

“And why not?”

Marie takes two determined strides over towards Emma, grabs her by her throat, and slams her against the wall.

“Because you are nothing but trouble!”

“Marie…”

Marie squeezes on her throat even tighter.

“NO!  I’m talking!  You did everything you could to destroy this family, you took Marie and Kimberly away from our mother and you separated us, you allowed us to believe in a lie that you permeated all of our lives, you stoked the flames of a war between myself and Kimberly hoping we would destroy one another…”

Marie pushes her face up into Emma’s, she is now quite literally breathing down her neck.

“…that is why you do not come here!  Anytime you come here, you cause problems!  In fact, tell me why I shouldn’t just end you now?!”

Emma can be heard laughing ever so slightly, despite the fact that Marie is squeezing her throat.  Marie is genuinely shocked that Emma is managing to laugh about this.

“You’re…you’re laughing?!”

“Of course I’m laughing, I’m laughing because you’re clearly doing exactly what those voices in your head want you to do!”

Now Marie is even more stunned.  She is stunned enough to release her grip on Emma.

“You…you heard me and…and…?”

Marie lets her voice trail off; she doesn’t want to finish her sentence.  She is genuinely afraid to finish her statement as she still doesn’t quite believe any of it herself.  Emma sighs as she shakes her head.

“I did not hear any voices…all I heard was you arguing with yourself.  But see, I’m used to it.  I’m used to it because your father, the wonderful man known as Sean Williams, argues with himself.  Your sister Kimberly would argue with herself when I raised her as my own.  I imagine she still does.  It runs in the family, you see.  So tell me, my sweet Marie, what did the voices tell you?”

Jones steels herself, trying to put forward an image of resolute toughness, but the tears forming in her eyes betray her.  She remains silent and doesn’t say a word, to which Emma responds with a laugh.

“It’s ok, I don’t need you to answer.”

“What do you want with me?”

“Isn’t it obvious?  I’m here to help you.”

Marie shakes her head.

“I don’t believe you!”

“Your sister suffered through it.  Your father suffers through it.  I helped both of them.  I can help you.”

“Emma, I…”

Marie is about to respond when she stops; a sudden realization washes over her.

“…Emma, you spoke of my father twice now in the present tense…that was a mistake, right?”

Emma grins knowingly.

“No, it was intentional.”

“So you’re saying…”

Emma nods her head.

“…yes, I’m saying that your father is alive.”

She extends a hand to Marie.

“I can take you to him.  And I can help you both.”

Marie backs away slowly, shaking her head.

“No!  No, no, no…not again…”

“It’s the voices, isn’t it?”

Marie nods her head and Emma sneers.

“Just as I figured.  You have no choice but to accept my help, Marie.”

Marie is shaking like a leaf.  Is she going to break down or just snap?  We don’t get a chance to find out as the door opens.  Sophie James reenters the room.

“Marie, where are you…”

She spots her friend and tag partner Marie shaking like a leaf a few feet away from this older woman, the intruder Emma.  Sophie immediately takes action by shoving Emma as hard as she can, causing Emma to fall flat on her ass on the floor.

“I don’t know who the hell you are, lady, but you’d better leave my friend alone!”

“Who are you to threaten me, child?”

“The one who is gonna kick your ass if you don’t get the hell out of here now!”

Emma sneers.

“Fine…”

She points at Marie.

“But we are far from through, Marie.  I will be back.”

Emma manages to push herself up and makes her exit.  Sophie then walks over to Marie.

“Who the hell was that, girl?”

“It’s…”

Marie sighs.

“…it’s my worst nightmare.”

“The following advertisement has been paid for by the Ginger Nation & Silverstone International…”

The UWA logo flashes upon the screen.  That is followed by an image of a phoenix not just surrounded by, but engulfed in flames.  This is a computer generated background, which is made obvious when Marie Annabelle Jones, the leader of the Ginger Nation, steps into the scene from stage left.

Glitzy sequins and beads illuminate the sheer mesh overlay of her sleek pencil skirt boasting a fitted high waistline and curve flaunting silhouette.  Her saucy crop top boasting a cool modern neckline and sleek cutaway shoulders also has the same kind of glitzy sequins and beads that illuminate its own sheer mesh overlay.  Enough of Marie’s midriff is left showing to make her look extra sexy.  Her feet are encased in strappy silver sandals.  Her long gorgeous ginger hair hangs unrestrained to shoulder length.  Her UWA World Tag Team Championship rests upon her left shoulder and the UWA World Championship rests upon her right shoulder.

“It’s been almost two years since I joined the Independent Wrestling Cartel and during that time I damn near ruined my own life.  I burned some bridges and threw away some great professional relationships all with the hopes of becoming World Champion.”

She holds up one finger.

“I was number ONE overall draft pick to the Uprising Brand of IWC and that wasn’t even enough for me.  I still had to be the world champion and I acted like a spoiled brat.  But an injury helped me to see the error of my ways.   I saw how damaging I had become, not just to myself but to others; to my own friends and family even.  I had become poison, a cancer that would destroy anyone I touched all for the chance of becoming World Champion.”

“So I set out to change that.  I worked hard not just to come back from injury earlier than anticipated, but to return stronger and better than before.  And more importantly, I returned with one goal in mind; that I would rebuild those bridges, I would earn back the respect of my peers, and that yes, I would become the UWA World Champion, but that I would do it the right way.”

Marie proudly holds up the UWA World Championship belt.

“Now here I stand before you today as your new UWA World Champion!”

Marie allows the title belt to rest back upon her right shoulder.

“I earned this championship the right way and I will continue to prove that I deserve it by being a fighting champion, the type of champion UWA deserves.  Victoria Salinas and Willow Wilkes both were assaulted before the Pyramid Match.  They were not at 100% heading in.  I definitely want one on one matches against both of them.  And everyone knows that I want Vanilla Skyy one on one.  She was the former champion and deserves her rematch, but I want it also for my own selfish reasons, because I want to prove to myself that I can beat her one on one in a straight up wrestling match; something the two of us have yet to truly have.”

Jones pats the UWA World Title belt over her right shoulder.

“I will proudly defend this title and proudly represent this company to the best of my ability.  But to my opponents, understand that I’ve been fighting and clawing for this for a long damn time.  I’m not about to let go of this anytime soon…”

“…but if you think that just because I am now the UWA World Champion that I am going to neglect my other duty, then you are sorely mistaken.”

Marie reaches over and pats the UWA World Tag Team title belt that sets upon her left shoulder.

“Sophie and I won these tag team titles back in October of 2015.  These championships are special to me.  They hold a special place in my heart, maybe not to the extent of the world championship, but definitely a special place in my heart, because this championship came about because someone was willing to take a chance on me.  I had just gotten medical clearance to compete again, and that alone would have been enough to make anyone else wary of choosing me as their tag team partner, but considering the fits and tantrums I had thrown in the past, considering my previous partnerships with the likes of Silas Mason, who would want to trust me again?”

“Sophie James could have chosen anyone to be her tag team partner but she chose me.  She showed that she trusted me and was willing to take a chance on me.  Thanks to Sophie James,  I was able to get back onto my road to redemption, a road that led to the UWA World Championship.  I can never thank Sophie enough for being a friend and taking a chance on me…”

Suddenly a new female voice rings out from the background…

“HEY!  I have a reputation to uphold, remember?!”

Marie rolls her eyes.

“Fine…Sophie is a complete and utter bitch!”

Marie turns and looks off screen.

“Better?”

The voice returns…

“Thanks!”

Marie sighs as she turns back to face the camera.

“Anyway, Sophie and I have been through a great deal in the nine months we have held these UWA World Tag Team Championships.  We battled Chris Davids and Cassius DeLight, we battled The Sinistry together, we took on The Dogs of War together, we stood up to Flawless Goodness…you name it and we’ve done it, all in the name of being the best tag team champions we could possibly be.  But I have to ask one question of our challengers, just one question for Selena Frost and her pet dragon Kalinda…”

She points a finger at the camera, as if pointing at Selena and Kalinda themselves.

“…what have you two done as a team?  What have you done other than become best buddies, I mean, because we’ve all seen how you two quickly bonded.  But Sophie and I quickly bonded as well.  Big deal!  What makes Sophie and I different is that we have taken on every single challenge that David Helms and Drew Bryant have seen fit to throw our way.  Every obstacle Helms and Bryant can come up with, we have overcome it.  We have been to war together and we have won.  But you two?”

Jones shakes her head.

“You’ve done nothing together as a team.  This is, in fact, your debut as an official team in UWA whereas me and Sophie are not just an official team, we are THE tag team, we are THE best tag team in professional wrestling.”

Marie laughs ever so slightly.

“You two are in for a rude awakening at the hands of the Ginger Nation, because tag team wrestling isn’t just about finding your best buddy and saying “hey, let’s go win the tag titles”…there is oh so much extra involved.  You have to have tag team chemistry, something that Sophie and I have.  You have to know how the other operates.  Sophie and I have been teaming long enough now that we know the other like the back of our hands.  It’s like we can read the other’s mind when that bell rings.  We don’t even need to speak.”

“Another thing about tag team wrestling that you may not understand is that it takes a special kind of attention and focus to be a tag team wrestler.  You have to be dedicated not just to yourself but to someone else.  The spotlight can’t entirely be focused on you.  Selena…you built up a reputation for following championships, especially women’s titles or queen of the ring titles.  Well congratulations on winning the Queen of the Ring Title.”

Marie applauds Selena.

“But if you want my opinion, if you want my advice, you should focus on keeping the Queen of the Ring Title.  The tag team division is an entirely different monster where you have to dedicate yourself entirely to Kalinda.  Can you do that?  Can you forget your own personal quests for a moment in order to be the best tag team partner possible for Kalinda?”

Marie shrugs her shoulders.

“Who knows?  But maybe I should be talking to your partner anyway, because Kalinda has another problem altogether and that is the problem of reality.  Reality seems to elude you, my friend.  I could talk about the reality of blue fire breathing Smurfs like yourself, but I’m not talking about that.  The reality to which I am referring to is the reality of tag team wrestling, a reality that you clearly do not seem to grasp.  The reality is that tag team wrestling is full of nothing but chaos.  That is why you must be able to trust your tag team partner.  Chaos is bound to ensue when there are four people in the ring, all with the goal of becoming tag champions but also four individuals with four individual goals as well.  Who knows what else they want or what ulterior motives they may have?  Who knows who else may be connected to them and if those individuals may get involved?”

“That’s what makes tag team wrestling a messy business but that’s the reality of tag team wrestling.  It’s a reality I have grown not just to accept but to master, because I have been a world tag team champion on eight separate occasions with four different partners.  I can work with anyone and win gold because I understand the concept of chaos, I accept the reality that comes with tag team wrestling.  But are you prepared for that kind of chaos?”

She shrugs her shoulders.

“Who knows if either one of you is truly prepared for what is to come in this tag team title match?”

Jones smiles knowingly.

“And therein lies the biggest advantage Sophie and I have.  We have the experience that you do not have.  We know what to expect whereas you two do not.  We have our game plan all mapped out, we have our strategy ready and prepared for how we will defeat you at Outbreak, but we are also prepared for anything else that could happen.  You…”

She chuckles knowingly.

“…you don’t know what to prepare for, because this is your first opportunity as a team, an opportunity some might argue that you don’t deserve.  But my job isn’t to judge who deserves an opportunity or who doesn’t.  My job is to defend my championships to the best of my ability.  And it will be my honor and privilege to give you your first opportunity ever at the UWA World Tag Team Championships…”

“….then you can say that your first loss as a tag team was to the UWA World  Tag Team Champions, The Ginger Nation.”

The camera fades to black.
